We publish two regular issues of The Fairy Tale Magazine annually,

and a bonus mini issue of stories and poems for our annual fairy tale prose and poetry contest.

(See our Submission Guidelines for details.)

We are both a lit mag and a fairy tale blog. We publish fairy tale articles on our blog

throughout the year that are designed to inspire wonder

and enchantment through the lens of fairy tale, folklore, mythology, and legend.

In addition, we have a thriving community that celebrates

(in the virtual world) and continues the tradition of telling fairy tales.

Our community, The Fairy Godparents Club, gathers regularly to share stories and poems,

and celebrate each other's writing and life.

Welcome to our vibrant and supportive online space.

Publisher & Editor-in-Chief

Kristen Baum DeBeasi

Kristen was born a flower child (on the inside). In fact, she remembers communing with the flowers surrounding her PNW home as a young girl. It wasn’t until later in life when her inner flower child grew bold enough to emerge (on the outside). Kristen has loved faeries and fairy tales for as long as she can remember. She is a poet, writer, and composer with a M.M. in theory and composition. The marriage of storytelling and music guides her creative expression. Visit her at: https://www.kbdebeasi.com/
