This week's pick: FTM Subscriptions
It’s Finally Time!
It’s finally time to subscribe, and from now until midnight, Jan. 8, you can get the full year’s subscription for just $12! After that, it goes to $16.
And what do you get for $12? Four digital issues of The Fairy Tale Magazine. They will publish on March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1. Each issue will be packed with new poems and stories inspired by fairy tales and folklore. We’ll also have interviews with writers, artists and scholars, plus our favorite stories and poems from when we were Enchanted Conversation. Because we are all about art, we’ll also have plenty of that—Amanda is already hard at work on it!
But you don’t just get the digital magazine, as awesome as we plan it to be. You’ll also get a serialized novel, Glass and Feathers, by Lissa Sloan. In it, she creates a life for Cinderella that is a captivating story of transformation and the search for purpose. Starting Jan. 17, you’ll receive a few new chapters of Glass and Feathers—and every two weeks, you’ll get a few more chapters, until you have the whole novel.
Lissa’s novel has never been published anywhere before, and won’t be out in print for another year, so you’ll be its very first readers. So while the first magazine issue isn’t until March 1, you’ll have a great read coming very soon if you subscribe.
But wait, there’s more!
The Fairy Godparents Club includes the digital subscription to the magazine, and access to Lissa Sloan’s serialized novel, along with other awesome benefits that include access to nine monthly Zoom meetings where the editors of The Fairy Tale Magazine will be sharing insider writing tips, our favorite books, live guest writer interviews, fairy tale swag giveaways, and special fairy tale meditations just for members.
Subscribers at this level will also receive extra stories, poems and art, plus access to members-only chats. A subscription to The Fairy Godparents Club is a flat $65.00 for the year.
Just email me at katewolford1@gmail.com and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice. (Note: The first official meeting is in April. We need time to get the first issue out before we plan anything else. But fear not! We’ll have goodies sent to you before then!)
One last thing: We are a nonprofit, but donations are not tax deductible as yet, because it’s actually pretty expensive and difficult to get 501c3 status. We hope that some of you will consider donating anyway. Because we are a nonprofit, we must use all funds for the benefit of the magazine. If you’d like to make a donation, just email me at katewolford1@gmail.com. We’ll arrange a donation through PayPal.
Yours in Enchantment,
Kate
