This week's pick: Awe Inspired Jewelry

I don’t buy expensive jewelry that is made of solid gold or precious stones. They are a hassle to watch out for and limit my jewelry choices budget-wise, so I focus on costume or fashion jewelry.

Today's recommendation occupies the middle ground between fancy and fun jewelry. It’s Awe Inspired, an online purveyor of jewelry in 14kt, vermeil, and sterling silver that is well designed, and in my experience, holds up.

If you like goddess jewelry, religious jewelry, and celestial jewelry, Awe Inspired will please you. The images on pendants and amulets are beautifully executed, and the detail work is similarly good. Ditto for earrings and bracelets.

The price range for a necklace can be anywhere from $100 to well over $1,000, depending on the metal you choose. Earrings start at about $45 and up. There’s a lot to choose from, and you’ll probably satisfy almost anyone’s taste.

But you should wait for a sale. And they are having a Cyber Monday sale right now, so hustle on over to get your 30 percent off! (I don’t gain anything from promoting this. I just like Awe Inspired.) It’s a perfect time to start your Christmas shopping, or just buy for yourself.
