Every Bit Helps - Please Donate to EC

"Blondine"(1920) by Virginia Sterrett
Hi all! This is Amanda, contributing editor and art director here at EC.

Fairy tales and fairy tale art were a big part of my life growing up. Those stories, images, and ideas fueled my imagination then and still do to this day. Virginia Sterrett, (her art is pictured above) Edmund Dulac, and Arthur Rackham are just a few of the artists that influenced me, along with writers such as H.C. Andersen, Charles Perrault, and the Brothers Grimm.

I have been so fortunate to be able to work with Kate Wolford, editor-in-chief of EC, this past year. Kate has created a place that continues this fairy tale tradition. Enchanted Conversation is an e-zine that is committed to publishing new fairy tales, as well as re-imaginings of familiar ones by both new and established authors.

So won’t you please help Enchanted Conversation continue by giving even as little as $10 or whatever amount you can? I can attest that every penny donated goes straight into keeping EC up and running, providing thought provoking content for future issues, and most importantly, paying our authors.

Also, check out the rewards at the different contribution levels: from digital art downloads for projects, picking art for a special edition issue, free e-books, to having a character named after you in an upcoming story. I mean, who wouldn’t want a character in the upcoming Baba Yaga anthology that Kate’s editing named after them?

Please help Enchanted Conversation to continue bringing original stories, fairy tales, poems, art, and commentary by contributing to the Enchanted Conversation FundRazr Page. Click for details HERE. Fundraising ends soon.

In closing, I'm sharing one of the many tales that you can currently read in EC's past archives. It's an original story by author, Carina Bissett. Enjoy and consider donating today.
